He creates his images in the state of Quintana Roo in southeast Mexico, focusing on the use of ambient lighting to obtain dramatic effects and tonalities that emphasise the form and structure of marine environments. Armed with a diploma in business administration, this talented photographer became a dive instructor in 1997, then a cave diver, rafting, and marine guide. As a member of the CEDAM, a Mexican organisation dedicated to marine archaeology, he has lived in Germany, Mexico, and Australia.
