« Erica went to butterfly island to discover she could fly too... » Thierry Van Biesen, about Buttervole serie (cosmogirl). The experience of the war in Lebanon has had a major impact on the quality of his photographs : his negatives and compositions vibrate with energy, with insouciance, and with the joy of living. He also integrates luxury in his shots, a luxury not without charm and voluptuousness. The colours are bright and the flesh is enthusiastic.
