Angus Young

About this photograph

The Australian-British hard rock group AC/DC was established in 1973 in Sydney. Two brothers, Angus and Malcolm Young, took the initiative for this group. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked AC/DC 72nd in the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time list. In an Australian school uniform, Angus Young ran onto the stage, rolled about on the ground and jumped in all directions without ever stopping playing. In spite of the death of the vocalist Bon Scott in 1980, AC/DC continued to work achieving success after success. In November 2010, AC/DC was nominated 'Group of the Year' at Britain's Classic Rock award ceremony.
