Viktor Polson
Juggler
About this photographThis series has permitted Viktor Polson to experiment with the depiction of simple and refined forms. It is an ambitious exercise. The photographer is forced to get straight to the point. The subject, vegetables in this case, is the unique object in the depiction. By using solid colours, transparent and bright materials, Polson magnifies the subject. Without the use of staging his strategy is to change scale, using juxtaposition and an interlinking of shapes. The compositions are simple and plain, yet Polson?s still life has a sensual approach. This artist aims to demonstrate the beauty of structures in the natural world and the consecration of everyday objects. Still life, a major genre in art, has become conceptual and even fun
