Frédéric Leschallier

After working in the music business, live performance, then advertising, it was in 2008, at the height of the digital revolution that Frédéric Leschallier armed himself with a digital camera and carried out a number of shooting sessions. In 2010, a 4-month collaboration with Studio Harcourt taught hima new approach to lighting. This then becomes primordial in terms of his way of devising and producing his photographic projects. His favourite themes are Asian art, rebellion, seduction, independence, strangeness, and urbanity. He also seeks inspiration from filmmakers (Terry Gilliam, Tarantino, Scorsese, Kurusawa), artists (Moebius, Bourgeon, Frank Miller) and creators of worlds (Terry Pratchett)..
