Road to woodstock IAbout this photograph
With extreme subtlety, Guen Fiore captures life in its most natural and elegant form. Delicate and sensual, the young women who model for her photographs appear to be in the midst of discovering their femininity. They sway between fragility, frivolity, and naivety, in a melancholic and bewitching world reminiscent of the atmospheres and tonalities of American films in the 1950s. The Italian-Romanian photographer has an innate ability to capture the most repressed and intimate emotions. "My main subjects are young women who perfectly embody the concept of freedom and imprudence. They are all very close to me, and I am sentimentally attached to all of them. Photography is something very personal and I want to talk about the faces of the people around me, in all their beauty and impurity", she affirms.Read more Read less

Born in 1988 in Pescara on the coast of the Adriatic sea, the young Italian-Romanian Guen Fiore already has the skills to impress the greatest names in fashion photography. Everything is as it should be in her approach to feminine portraiture and in her artistic career, which began very early. Influenced by her father?s passion, it was also through the development of social networks that this self-taught photographer became interested in images. Currently studying industrial engineering at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, the young woman has always dreamed of becoming a professional photographer. The year 2011 marks the acquisition of her first digital reflex camera and the first recognition of her talent. While her images are published in the most notable fashion magazines (Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, Fotografare, GQ, L??il de la photographie, Wall Street International), and have been exhibited several times in Tuscany, she also attracted attention at the International Photography Awards (IPA), obtaining honourable mentions in 2014 and 2015.
