Marcus Koppen

Hong Kong #16

About this photograph

All show the nocturnal hustle and bustle of the metropolises of Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and New York. The lighting on the streets and in buildings symbolizesall this activity. And yet the same lighting that creates the abstract and surreal image ofa city that never sleeps also epitomizes in its artificiality an unmistakable loneliness.
